I believe meeting parents with kindness and empathy, no matter where you are in your parenthood journey. Everyone’s needs are different and every session can look different. We will always have a catch up over a cuppa so we can ensure you get the most out of my support. It is up to you how you want me to support you, whether that is chatting over feeding choices, catching up with some sleep whilst I hold the baby in a sling, helping with some household chores or simply holding space for the new parent to breathe in their own feelings. In the core of my role as a doula is the wellbeing of the parents and making them feel seen, heard and understood as they find their feet as parents.
Initial meeting with me is always free of charge so you can find out more about me and how I work and also to make sure we are "a good fit" for each other. There is a doula for everyone! And for me it is important that you find the right person and right kind of support for you. It is important that you feel comfortable in my company and vice versa. Welcoming a baby can be a very vulnerable, emotional and transformative time and therefore I want you to be sure that I am the right person to support you at this special time in your life.
I am also available for virtual support (WhatsApp/ Text) should you need any extra emotional support or signposting in between our in person sessions. Previously I have also assisted mother's and babies to medical appointments and I am more than happy to also run errands or pick up shopping during the sessions.
My current hourly rate is £25 per hour for packages and bundles (except night time support) and £28 per hour for ad-hoc support (or less than 20 hours of support).

Basic (Olive):
1.5-2h postnatal planning session or 3 step trauma healing process
24 hours of Postnatal support in the comfort of your own home, taken in minimum of 2h sessions within 12 weeks
(2 x 2h a week or 1 x 4h a week)

Medium (Olive branch):
1.5-2h postnatal planning session or 3 step trauma healing process
36 hours of postnatal support in the comfort of your own home, taken in minimum of 2h sessions within 12 weeks
(2 x 3h a week, 3 x 2h a week)

Premium (Tree of life):
1.5-2h postnatal planning session or 3 step trauma healing process
48 hours of postnatal support in the comfort of your own home, taken in minimum of 2h sessions within 12 weeks
(4 x 2h a week, 2 x 4h a week)

All packages can be used as regular weekly sessions or we can adjust the session schedule as we go. Some clients might prefer starting with more intense support and then tailing off with just once a week or even once a fortnight or month. Or if you are on the fence whether doula support would be the right kind of support for you and your family, we can start with 1 session a week and then if needs be (and subject to availability) add more sessions if you feel that more intense support is needed.
Night Doula Support
I offer night time support in 10 hour blocks from 8pm until 6am for a package price of £270 per night
During the night I will help with feeding, holding and settling the baby in whichever way you will feel most comfortable. I can keep company for you whilst you breastfeed and then help settle the baby afterwards so you can get in as much rest as possible. If booking night support for a longer period of time (2-3 nights a week for a month or more, in excess of 10 nights), I am happy to offer a discounted rate of £260 per night.
I am also happy to create tailor made packages to fit around your individual needs. If booking month by month fits better around your circumstances, please do let me know so we can make a plan together.
25% deposit will be charged for all packages or bundles at the time of booking and rest of the fee will be payable on start date. I am open to discuss payment plans as I would never like to see a family go without support just due to financial circumstances. I do also offer gift cards and I am part of the Doula UK Access Fund.
I fully understand, as a mother to two young children myself, life with babies can be unpredictable and life can just happen, so I am flexible with pre booked hours and I am happy to reschedule even at short notice. All changes are subject to availability as I sometimes work with couple of families at the same time. I care deeply about the families I support and will always try and accommodate changes to the plans to the best of my ability.
